TRAMO was created as a resource for likeminded organizations: to support, enhance, teach, share, encourage, develop, grow, sustain recycling and help beautify Ghana.
The idea of a Trash Recycling and Management Organisation (TRAMO) was conceived by a young ambitious student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as an NGO. The organisation is currently registered as a Limited Liability Company under the Ghana Company Act of 1963 (Act 197).
With our passion for success and to see clean environment through the organization of waste education outreach Programmes, TRAMO emerged as the most innovative organization in the year 2012 during KNUST- Vice Chancellor’s Awards. Apart from this, the largest waste management Organization (ISWA & DWASTE) in the World Published our articles and research works on waste titled “Solid Waste Management in Ghana”. Despite the challenges we face as a new organization in executing our objectives, we are still able to make our voices heard.
